CNC Machinist - (Set Up Relief Operator) Weekend Nights

We are seeking a CNC Machinist (Set Up Relief Operator) at our Cudahy, WI facility to work the weekend night shift Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6pm-6am, with training held on 1st shift for 60–90 days, Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm. Following training you will work 36 hours but will be paid for 40. This position is responsible for all complete setups of CNC machines and running them on a relief basis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Ability to read blueprints
- 5-7 years of CNC experience
Nice To Haves
- Machining certificate preferred
- Experience as a CNC Vertical Turning Center Operator/Machinist
- Experience with metal forgings
Responsibilities
- Follows engineering setup charts to perform initial assembly of tools
- Performs complete disassembly of jobs
- Arranges tooling
- Interprets program to install all tools in the machine and establish and put in offsets
- Performs complete machining of first piece
- Verifies all dimensions on machines to corresponds with drawing
- Running machines in a relief basis
