About The Position

At WET (Design), we don’t just machine parts—we build experiences that are admired around the globe. As the visionaries behind world-famous projects like the Fountains of Bellagio and the Dubai Fountain, we harness technology and creativity to transform nature’s elements into unforgettable, multi-sensory environments. Now, we’re searching for a talented, detail-obsessed Machinist-Programmer to help us craft the functional masterpieces that define our brand. As our Machinist-Programmer, you’ll play a key role on our advanced Manufacturing team—taking ownership of programming, setup, and operation of state-of-the-art CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines. You’ll work primarily with Haas and Mazak equipment using the latest MasterCam software, and collaborate with a team that brings imagination to reality at a global scale. If you thrive in a creative, fast-paced, and quality-driven environment, this is your chance to make a real impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience programming and running CNC lathes and mills
  • Extensive hands-on expertise with Mastercam (X9 or newer) for multi-axis machining and live tooling
  • High proficiency with Haas (preferred) and Mazak CNC machines
  • Proficient with all common machining tools and measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
  • Ability to work with both delicate components and large, heavy stock
  • Strong understanding of shop math, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Proven track record as a collaborative, detail-oriented team player with high standards for quality and safety
  • Comfortable standing and moving throughout an 8–10 hour shift; able to lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and curiosity about new technology
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, creative shop environment

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate various CNC equipment with precision for both first-run and repeat production
  • Take full responsibility for your own CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines (live tooling, full 4th axis)
  • Independently make part setups, using your own toolkit and machining best practices.
  • Program and run Mastercam (X9 or newer) for advanced operations, with an emphasis on Haas and Mazak machines
  • Design, fabricate, and refine custom tools, fixtures, and jigs—supporting rapid innovation and one-of-a-kind assemblies
  • Interpret and work from detailed drawings, engineering specs, and verbal instructions; suggest improvements for quality or efficiency
  • Apply deep shop math and engineering principles to ensure parts are manufacturable, practical, and cost-effective
  • Inspect work using all necessary measuring tools, ensuring tight tolerances and exact specifications
  • Proactively improve processes, maintain a safe workspace, and mentor teammates when needed

Benefits

  • You’ll join a team united by curiosity, pride, and craftsmanship—where your work is seen by millions and your ideas shape projects on a global stage.
  • We invest in leading-edge tools, offer room to grow your skills, and provide the chance to build something truly extraordinary every day.
