  • Perform tooling maintenance and ensure all processes are completed to produce quality parts.
  • Fabricate and modify parts to repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
  • Machine parts to specifications using tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
  • Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Operate conventional, special-purpose, and CNC machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts.
  • Fit and assemble machined parts into complete units, applying knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures.
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2-year associate degree preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience in CNC machining or related field.
  • Knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
  • Ability to perform work under direct supervision and handle basic issues.
  • Accreditation from a technical school or applicable skilled trades program.
  • Entry-level experience in CNC machining.
  • Competitive pay rate of $21.50 - $22.00 per hour.
