About The Position

Saxon Aerospace is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for individuals with 7-10 years of experience in CNC setup and operation, especially in a heavy manufacturing environment in the Aerospace field.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of CNC machining experience
• Strong knowledge of machine setup and program verification
• Proficient in reading shop drawings and using measuring instruments
• High school diploma or GED required (technical training a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or on a team

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and machine cells
• Perform first-part inspections and ensure parts meet specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, M & G code, and precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot basic production issues
• Deburr, spot check parts, and maintain machine cleanliness
• Follow safety protocols and production standards
