About The Position

Custom Control Sensors, LLC (CCS) is a global leader in the design, development, manufacturing and supply of pressure, temperature and liquid flow switches and sensors for the Aerospace, Defense and Industrial markets. The Expert-Level CNC Machinist independently sets up and operates advanced CNC machines, edits/optimizes programs, troubleshoots complex issues, and mentors juniors to deliver high-quality parts on deadline.

Requirements

  • 6 months minimum of Machine shop experience or equivalent Mechanical trade
  • 3-5 years of CNC machining experience.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in independent setups and G/M code edits.
  • Leadership experience in training others.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident (due to ITAR compliance).
  • Independent setup/operation of CNC lathes, mills, and mill/turn machines with proficient G/M code edits.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex issues and implementation of solutions.
  • Ability to train/mentor junior machinists and ensure quality/output.
  • Advanced blueprint/GD&T proficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • NIMS or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Independently set up and run CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines.
  • Edit G/M codes and optimize programs for efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot advanced problems and implement solutions.
  • Train and mentor entry-level machinists.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and production targets are met.
