About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced Level 2 CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll independently set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components that meet exact specifications and quality standards. The ability to setup and operate CNC mills and lathes independently. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and inspection instructions. Apply advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in machining and inspections. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. The ability to make tool and work offset changes when needed to produce conforming parts. Actively participate in training programs for skill development and career advancement. All other duties as directed. You’re a hands-on, detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality, precise parts. You enjoy working independently to set up and run CNC equipment and have a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and quality requirements. Safety, accuracy, and craftsmanship are second nature to you, and you’re always looking for ways to improve efficiency and maintain the highest standards on the shop floor.

Requirements

  • Completion of a vocational or technical program in machining or a related field
  • 1–3 years of CNC machining experience, preferably in a production environment
  • Relevant technical certifications or equivalent documented experience
  • Advanced knowledge of CNC machining principles, setup, and operation
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Maintain valid driver’s license.
  • Maintain eligibility to work with firearms under state and federal guidelines.
  • Permanent working rights and availability to work in the United States
