Requirements

3-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication.
Must be able to run MasterCAM.
Strong proficiency in setting up and operating 3-axis CNC mills & lathes, must be able to do 4 or 5-axis.
Experience with running and programming Hurco machines at the machine level.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision and quality.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a high-performing team.
Ability to critically think and problem solve
Ability to work independently
Ability to do basic arithmetic

Responsibilities

Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills and lathes to execute precision machining processes. Conversational programming required.
Work with precision by interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
Optimize performance by monitoring and adjusting machine settings to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
Inspect with precision using micrometers, calipers, and other standard measuring tools to ensure all finished products meet strict quality standards.
Maintain peak machine efficiency by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Collaborate and innovate with the production team to streamline machining processes and maximize productivity.
Dual Role: The working lead is both a frontline worker and a supervisor, bridging the gap between management and the shop floor.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively
