About The Position
As a CNC Machinist Lead, your day will look like: This position will assist the Supervisor on the day-to-day activities in the machine shop to ensure the workflow is running at optimum levels of efficiency. To be a Lead, the individual must be a Level 4 and can manage a team of machinists, schedule work, allocate resources and ensure production targets are met. The individual will also be responsible for performing activities to provide a liaison between Production Control, Production, Quality, and the Engineering Department. The Lead will also train employees on the proper set up and operation of machinery, assist Supervisor in the completion of first article inspections to ensure quality standards are met, monitor, and promote all safety best practices and policies.
