Requirements

Proficiency in operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers — required
Strong programming skills — required
Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings including GDT
Proficient in calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical skills and precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
Leadership and mentorship mindset to drive department success

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and prove out CNC Vertical and Horizontal Milling process to be passed to machine operators.
Incorporate probing sequences for next part orientation and dimensional accuracy
Provide guidance and troubleshooting for milling department.
Drive individual growth and development to upskill operators
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
