Requirements

  • Proficiency in operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers — required
  • Strong programming skills — required
  • Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings including GDT
  • Proficient in calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical skills and precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Leadership and mentorship mindset to drive department success

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and prove out CNC Vertical and Horizontal Milling process to be passed to machine operators.
  • Incorporate probing sequences for next part orientation and dimensional accuracy
  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting for milling department.
  • Drive individual growth and development to upskill operators
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
