Join a precision aerospace manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist I, where you’ll operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-tolerance components for the aerospace industry. The CNC Machinist I plays a vital role in the company’s performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA). This is a hands-on position ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to gain advanced machining experience in a clean, safety-focused environment. You’ll work alongside experienced machinists and engineers, gaining exposure to cutting-edge equipment and precision machining practices used in aerospace component manufacturing.

  • Operate CNC machine tools, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and lathes.
  • Read and interpret engineered blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Perform accurate measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
  • Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to maintain tight tolerances.
  • Apply problem-solving and machining technical skills to improve part quality.
  • Compare machine setup parameters with setup sheets and specifications.
  • Follow all safety and workmanship standards in a high-precision environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and inspection records per AS9100.
  • Verify conformity of machined parts against specifications.
  • Deburr parts and ensure smooth, accurate edges.
  • Understand and interpret basic G-code programming.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready at all times.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–5 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Skilled in math and measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with CAD, CAM, MRP, and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Adherence to OSHA, ITAR, NADCAP, ISO9000/AS9100, and FAA standards.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for 8–12 hours per shift.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Tolerate a manufacturing environment with noise, vibration, and temperature changes.
  • Must wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection).
  • CNC machining certificate or technical/vocational training preferred.
  • Familiar with aerospace industry standards (AS9100 preferred).
  • Strong initiative and commitment to first-part quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Desire for continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Internal certifications such as Forklift, Slings/Cranes, or FPV may be required.
