About The Position

This position involves fabricating metal components through both manual machining and the operation of CNC machines. The role requires efficient operation of multiple CNC machines simultaneously, as well as proficiency with various manual machining equipment. The individual will be responsible for creating products based on work orders and drawings, utilizing precision measuring instruments to maintain close tolerances, and completing necessary reports and material issuance.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Proficient in part inspection, including use of calipers, bore gauges, thread gauges, and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with CNC controllers
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Team player.
  • Communication skills (written and oral).
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of ISO9001 and LEAN
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Fast learner.
  • Able to pick up new processes quickly.
  • CNC Operator Certificate or Equivalent Experience

Responsibilities

  • Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously, efficiently running parts through the equipment.
  • Operate band saws, drill presses, and other manual machining equipment.
  • Perform machining operations for milling, boring, grinding, lathe.
  • Create product based on work orders and drawings.
  • Use wide range of precision measuring instruments to maintain a close tolerance.
  • Complete reports, issue material to work order as required, file prints.
  • Other duties as assigned.
