About The Position

Delta Research is an AS9100 and ISO9001 registered facility which manufactures Automotive & Truck Differentials , Gear Products , Prototype/Development and Production , Transmission Builds . In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services. We are also a NADCAP approved non-destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch. Openings on both 1st and 2nd Shift 1st Shift Hours: Monday - Friday from 6:00an - 2:30pm (1-2 hours daily overtime and some weekends) 2nd Shift Hours: Monday - Friday from 4:00pm - 12:30am (1-2 hours daily overtime and some weekends) Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Gear Hobing and Shaping equipment with minimal to no supervision Cutting gear and spline teeth and holding tolerances of between .001"-.0001" on lead and involute Run a CNC gear inspection machine along with micrometers, gages and amps Maintain proper documentation of SPC data and collaborate with management staff and supervisor Verify part quantity with the job traveler Make machine adjustments as required to maintain print specifications Load and unload machines as per the cycle time noted on the traveler Determine when wheels need replacement Assist in determining tooling & fixturing needs Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Ability to operate CNC machinery as required Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques preferred Prior experience with 1st piece and in-process inspection of work required Use inspection methods to determine size changes Understanding blueprints & travelers Work Environment: Must have ability to lift 25-40 lbs Frequent Standing, Twisting and Bending The Delta Family of Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer The Delta Family of Companies are an Equal Employment Opportunity in the workplace without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, disability or veteran status. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to operate CNC machinery as required
