Requirements

Proficiency in operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers - required
Proficiency in programming using Mastercam - required
An understanding of GD&T Codes
Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings
Proficient in calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical skills and precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
Capable of machining precision parts from start to finish

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate CNC Vertical and Horizontal Milling Centers
Lead a team of CNC Milling Machinists, checking set-ups and programs
Communicate daily on department priorities
Inspect and validate your own work using precision measuring equipment
Complete short-run jobs with frequent changeovers and tool adjustments
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
