About The Position

The position involves working with EDM machines to manufacture high precision parts. The candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, setting up and locating parts, and ensuring that all work meets high precision tolerances. The role requires troubleshooting errors and conducting maintenance on the machines while adhering to shop safety rules. The candidate will also be expected to schedule jobs to maximize unmanned machine hours and ensure conformance to specifications using various precision measuring devices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the injection mold industry
• Inspection experience and able to use precision measuring devices for overall quality
• Knowledge of proper Health and Safety measures
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of electrical wiring schematics
• Good math skills
• Basic understanding of manufacturing high precision parts
• Basic understanding of Excel fundamentals and similar programs
• Must be able to work both independently and on a team
• Must demonstrate strong organizational skills with close attention to detail
• Must be knowledgeable in reading and interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings
• Skilled in conducting inspections and utilizing precision measuring devices to maintain product quality
• Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the company
• Capable of performing physical tasks including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
