The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machine tools, including machining centers, turning centers, and bridge mills, to manufacture and recondition close tolerance component parts to customer and industry standards. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining, with the ability to work independently and interpret mechanical drawings and sketches. The machinist will perform precision metal cutting, grinding, shaping, and fitting, and will measure components, parts, and raw materials using precision measuring instruments, gauges, and tools. Basic knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry as it applies to machining is necessary. The role involves working under limited supervision.
