We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer to join our Western Cluster Skilled Trades team in Flagstaff, Arizona. This role involves participating in divisional machining and R&D operations within the Medical Products West Skilled Trades shop. The position offers opportunities for personal development and requires collaboration with engineers and manufacturing associates to enhance part and machine design.

Machine, repair, modify fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids
Work closely with engineers, manufacturing, and shop associates to provide input on part/machine design and improvements
Perform preventive maintenance of machine shop equipment
Commit to continuous personal development aligned with current commitments and business needs
Identify materials, parts, equipment, and timeline required to complete jobs
Be flexible to work in other functions to meet business needs

Completion of a formal apprenticeship program and 2+ years hands-on machining experience, OR a minimum of 6 years' experience in a machine shop environment
Demonstrated experience in programming and running CNC mills and lathes, grinders, and manual shop equipment to make parts to exacting tolerances
Proven experience utilizing CAD/CAM software
Demonstrated experience using a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments
Proven computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel, e-mail)
Ability to produce machined parts from conceptual ideas, sketches, drawing packets, Solid Models, engineering specifications, or verbal input
Ability to maintain shop equipment and associated tooling
Ability to work safely in a shop environment
Ability to travel up to 5%

Familiarity with current FDA and ISO regulatory guidelines and clean-room protocol as they pertain to manufacturing machines and equipment
Experience in mentoring and training machine shop associates
Experience programming using MasterCam software
