Requirements

  • Proficiency in operating 5 Axis Machining Centers - required
  • Strong programming skills - required
  • Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings
  • Proficient in calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical skills and precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Capable of machining precision parts from start to finish

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate 5-Axis Machining Centers
  • Review part specification and requirements.
  • Setup work piece, create machining center sequence and tool selection.
  • Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications.
  • Inspect and validate your own work using precision measuring equipment
  • Complete short-run jobs with frequent changeovers and tool adjustments
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
