About The Position

Build what’s next — one precise feature at a time. As a CNC Machining Technician in our Greenwood, IN facility, you’ll transform engineering intent into production reality on 2nd or 3rd shift. Your craft on Haas 3‑ and 4‑axis VMCs ensures every hole, slot, and surface meets the print. Your mission Own the process from setup to first‑article: read blueprints and planning sheets, select tools, validate fixtures, and sequence operations Install tooling in holders, load magazines, and align/secure workpieces Load control media (tape, card, or disk) or retrieve programs; set offsets, speeds, feeds, depths, and coolant Execute prove‑outs and perform manual programming during setups only with Supervisor approval Run parts, monitor performance, change tools, and inspect to blueprint tolerances Correct out‑of‑tolerance conditions via command inputs or control adjustments; run manually when automation falls short Partner with your Supervisor or programming to resolve control media errors Keep machines and tooling clean and maintained; follow PPE and safety protocols Document and maintain data in the Traverse Manufacturing System Share knowledge by helping train new teammates

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of relevant machining experience/training
  • Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions
  • Strong math foundation in fractions, decimals, and units
  • Fluency in reading blueprints and operation sheets
  • Hands‑on CNC setup/operation experience and comfort with the Traverse Manufacturing System
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Correct out‑of‑tolerance conditions via command inputs or control adjustments; run manually when automation falls short
  • Partner with your Supervisor or programming to resolve control media errors
  • Keep machines and tooling clean and maintained; follow PPE and safety protocols
  • Document and maintain data in the Traverse Manufacturing System
  • Share knowledge by helping train new teammates
