Bond Optics is seeking an experienced CNC Machining Technician II to independently set up, operate, and optimize CNC machining centers for precision operations on optical and ceramic components used in demanding defense, aerospace, and industrial applications. This role is ideal for a skilled CNC machinist who can work with non-metallic materials (glass, ceramics, crystalline substrates), interpret drawings, write and edit G-code programs, troubleshoot process issues, and maintain tight dimensional tolerances. The CNC Machining Technician II also mentors Technician I personnel and contributes to process improvement. Equipment Scope: This role operates conventional CNC machining centers (HAAS, Mori Seiki, or equivalent) configured for glass and ceramic material processing. This is not a traditional metal-cutting machining position.
