The Gund Company is offering a hands-on CNC Machining Internship designed for students enrolled in manufacturing, machining, or technical programs. This internship provides real-world experience working alongside skilled machinists while learning how to safely set up, run, and inspect CNC-produced parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You’ll Learn Basics of operating CNC mills and lathes Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Machine setup, tool changes, and offsets (under supervision) Quality inspection using calipers, micrometers, & gauges Material handling and workflow processes Safety procedures and shop best practices Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
