Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
Basic understanding of CAD software such as Siemens NX, CREO, Pro Engineer, or Solidworks
Experience and/or interest with CNC machines, mills, or lathes through internships or University work

Nice To Haves

Experience with production manufacturing
Lean Six Sigma
G-code; Windchill
Root Cause Analysis
Interest in metal machining, tooling, and the processes used to manufacture machined precision components

Responsibilities

Create work instructions detailing the appropriate equipment, methods, special processes, tools and fixturing required to manufacture our complex components.
Design of special tools and fixtures required to support manufacturing.
Provide manufacturing floor support to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
Perform Root Cause analysis and implement effective Corrective Action to address quality related issues.
Investigate, propose, and implement technology to reduce costs and/or improve quality.
Utilize CAM software for CNC programming
Perform other duties as assigned
