Standby Screw Machine Products is currently seeking a Night Shift CNC Machine Operator to join our company. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, utilizing your core skills in blueprint reading, machining, and precision measuring instruments to produce high-quality parts. Your premium skills in CNC programming, CAD, and CNC operation will be essential in ensuring efficient production processes. The Night Shift CNC Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently running production machines, specifically Lathes and Swiss machines, while maintaining good quality product and reporting any issues to their supervisor. This role requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment while handling multiple tasks. In this position, you will be expected to run production CNC Lathe or Swiss machines, maintain good quality product, and report issues to the CNC Department Lead. You will also be responsible for leaving the machine in good working condition, which includes ensuring new tooling is in place and coolant levels are adequate. Making tool offsets and changes to tooling when needed, inspecting products properly, and keeping the machine area clean, including the floor, machine, and workstation, are also key responsibilities. You will perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of our production line and ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
