About The Position

We're seeking skilled Machine Operator to join a high-performance team. In this role, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to manufacture precision parts and assemblies to exacting tolerances, supporting aerospace and mechanical systems.

Requirements

  • CNC machine operation experience, preferably more than 2 years
  • Availability to work any shift assigned
  • Ability to stand and work for entire 8 hr. shift

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools to produce parts to engineering specifications
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical documentation
  • Determine tooling, sequence of operations, feeds, and speeds
  • Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments
  • Perform standard shop math and layout techniques
  • Fit and assemble mechanical components
  • Perform minor machine maintenance (e.g., filter changes, coolant level checks)
  • Deburr, drill, bore, hone, grind, and fasten components as needed
  • Operate multiple machines concurrently when required
  • Move product across the manufacturing floor and complete system transactions
  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with process control procedures
  • Support continuous improvement by assisting and training coworkers
  • Train toward and achieve MVP (Manufacturing Versatility Program) qualification
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
