About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift Machine Room team in High Point, NC. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to produce high-quality aluminum and metal components used in custom truck and trailer body manufacturing. Mickey Truck Bodies is a premier manufacturer of state-of-the-art bodies and trailers, and specially engineered vehicles sold in over 50 countries around the world. The innovative product line-up is prevalent in industries such as food & beverage, vending, propane, rental trucks, emergency & rescue, battery, oil & natural gas, and data storage. The company operates in 4 states with over 400 Mickey employees at these locations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operating experience (metal fabrication preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • CNC programming and G-code knowledge preferred
  • Experience in truck, trailer, or automotive manufacturing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish metal and aluminum components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and work instructions
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Complete production and quality documentation
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
