The Machine Operators run numerically controlled machining and turning centers and tools to produce precision parts. This position works from part drawings and specifications. In addition, the Machine Operators makes offsets and tool changes to produce quality parts. What You'll Do: Use micrometers, electronic and/or dial gauges, calipers, surface gauges, height, and depth indicators to check work for dimensional accuracy. Make minor adjustments to maintain tolerances and finish requirements. Perform minor tool changes. Load, inspect, assemble, and pack parts in accordance with visual operator manufacturing instruction, work instruction, OPPM, visual aid or quality alert, or other required documentation. Fill out required documentation, understand, and follow frequency of inspection. Additional duties as directed by supervisor.
