This is a second shift position that offers a competitive shift differential. The role involves operating various CNC machines in compliance with the corporate mission and values, as well as department financial objectives. The essential functions include milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, molding, and performing all bench operations and inspections as required. The operator must detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor or trainer, follow prescribed safety regulations and equipment tag-out procedures, and comply with Global Harmonized System (GHS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and hazardous waste labeling requirements. Additionally, the operator is responsible for executing proper spill response procedures, performing prescribed preventative maintenance on machines, keeping equipment and the work area clean and orderly, and maintaining a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, coworkers, clients, and supervisors. The operator must work in a safe and conscientious manner, assist other employees as necessary, and perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor.
