About The Position

Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a CNC Machine Operator (Lathe) - 3rd Shift. The hours for this role are 11pm-7am. The hourly rate for this position is $27.50 per hour. Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of machinist/CNC experience OR completion of a machinist/CNC degree/certification.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Candidates must reside within the immediate Beltsville area (50 miles).

Nice To Haves

• 3 years manufacturing experience
• 2 years of CNC experience

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operation of multiple CNC Lathe and Mill machines.
• Check quality of finished parts.
• Fully understand technical drawings, revisions, and note codes, using QC info.
• Operate machines and any other calibration equipment necessary to perform job functions.
• Perform set-ups and tool changes for multiple machines with different controls.
• Modify, edit, download, and upload programs to make multiple parts.
• Perform offset adjustments and utilize proper tooling based on print specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings in accordance with standard shop practices.
• Train and mentor other operators.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
