Position Summary: The CNC Machine Operator II is a mid-level position that draws on prior machining experience and technical problem-solving skills to operate a minimum of two (2) types of CNC equipment. The CNC Machine Operator II will operate multiple types of CNC machines on medium to highly complex components using automated and manual equipment and processes to meet customer needs. CNC Machine Operators work both independently and in a team environment with internal team members, leads, supervisors, and quality and are responsible for training others as required. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires little supervision to identify additional tasks.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated CNC experience.
Solid computer and math skills are required.
Demonstrate the ability to perform secondary operations.
Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English.
Basic experience reading blueprints.

Nice To Haves

Some experience with GD&T is helpful.

Responsibilities

All duties associated with level I at an intermediate level without assistance, as well as operating a minimum of two (2) types of CNC equipment.
Responsible for changing and/or replacing broken tools independently.
Identify issues with fixtures.
Start to understand and interpret drawings as they relate to GD&T.
Read CMM reports and or reports from the equator and adjust parts.
Complete tasks as assigned in a timely manner.
Participate in 5S Workplace organizational activities and maintain the area in good working order through sustainment activities.
Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.
May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
