About The Position

As a CNC Machine Operator & Inspector you will m onitor Swiss CNC turning machine(s) during turning, boring, milling, drilling, tapping, threading, grooving, and contouring applications. Produce and inspect (both visually and dimensionally) intricate parts. Stop the machine if unacceptable parts are produced and escalate to the appropriate parties to resolve. Compare results to specifications. What you’ll do: Monitor the operation of single or multiple Swiss CNC turning machines. Load material onto machine as needed Remove burrs and sharp edges, retain production order of parts Visually inspect parts for defects Measure specified dimensions using micrometers, vision systems, go/ no-go gauges Record data in database and/or on appropriate documents Identify and segregate bad parts Recognize and notify Shift Lead for machining difficulties and excessive scrap Record and enter scrap Maintain a neat, well-organized workspace Accurately complete all paperwork in a timely fashion Follows safety procedures accordingly. Responsibilities
