About The Position

Join Stryker and play a hands-on role in bringing life-changing medical technologies to patients around the world. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment where quality, precision, and teamwork directly impact patient outcomes. Operate automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing and assembly equipment, including robotic assembly machines, to produce finished medical products. Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures to meet defined specifications and tolerances. Adjust machine settings, load materials, and remove finished products to maintain continuous production flow. Inspect products against drawings and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with quality and tolerance requirements. Record production data, measurements, and time accurately using approved manufacturing and quality systems. Track production efficiency and scrap rates, escalating issues to the appropriate teams to support performance targets. Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment operating safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in alignment with regulatory and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in Spanish.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Training or experience working under Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, or vision systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or technical drawings.
