About The Position

Centro is seeking a motivated CNC Router Operator to join our Production team. In this role, you will operate a 5‑axis CNC Router, perform finishing and assembly tasks, and ensure all products meet customer specifications and Centro Quality System standards. You will also assist with basic maintenance, documentation, and quality checks to support efficient and accurate production. As the final inspector before products reach our customers, your attention to detail and commitment to quality directly impact customer satisfaction and Centro’s performance goals.

Requirements

  • Ability to use hand and power tools, including CNC Router, vacuum fixtures, knives, drills, cutters, calipers, micrometers, gauges, trimmers, and saws.
  • Ability to learn and use computers and software, including Microsoft Windows and Centro Quality System applications.
  • High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing or technical machinery experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills and understanding of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, blueprint reading, and computers.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, and see effectively for communication and job performance.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs continuously and 50 lbs periodically; stand for long periods; walk, climb, stoop, reach, and bend.
  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 55–105°F.
  • Must pass a physical exam and drug screen and remain drug‑free.
  • Must achieve and maintain competencies in Centro’s Quality System.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a 5‑axis CNC Router to ensure efficient throughput and optimal productivity.
  • Load and unload products, perform inspections, QA layout, finishing, rework, and assembly using hand and power tools.
  • Follow all Centro Quality System procedures, including PSRs, PCNs, hold tags, rework processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of processed products.
  • Identify supply needs and communicate with appropriate team members.
  • Recognize equipment irregularities and perform basic preventative and corrective maintenance within training limits.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with CNC Operators, QA, engineering, and management to ensure consistent operations across shifts.
  • Assist in training new team members.
  • Support continuous improvement through cross‑training, education, and process improvement ideas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including recycling.
