About The Position

The position involves confirming job order procedures and instructions related to machine operations. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines and/or production equipment, strictly following instructions, job specifications, and blueprints. The role requires reading blueprints accurately to properly set up machinery and operating hand tools as necessary to set up tools in the correct machine. Additionally, the candidate will use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions, identify and stamp parts for traceability, and inspect products per print. Keeping the machine clean, performing minor maintenance as needed, and reporting malfunctions to appropriate personnel are also part of the job responsibilities. The candidate must be willing to purchase required tools, which must pass certification criteria, and must be able to complete the above tasks under close supervision. This position is entry-level, and skills will be developed through repeated operations and on-the-job training. The candidate should be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and blueprints. Writing routine reports and correspondence, as well as performing basic mathematical operations, are also required. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or better.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities
