Requirements

• 7 years minimum experience as a CNC Lathe setup and operator.
• Knowledge of tooling and different applications.
• Ability to do setups required to complete the part, including work holding.
• Proficient at using inspection equipment.
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with G-Code and Mazatrol.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines.
• Calculate speeds and feeds for a variety of materials.
• Hold tight tolerances (+/- .0005).
• Use inspection equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Plan daily machining using blueprints, specifications, job routings, geometric dimensions, and tolerances.
• Detect and troubleshoot problems by taking measurements and adjusting controls.
• Monitor drilling and cutting processes closely.
