About the position
The CNC Programmer Team Lead is responsible for programming 3- and 5-axis CNC Lathes, utilizing MasterCAM or NX software. This role is crucial for supporting the semiconductor industry and involves leading a team of programmers to ensure high-quality production and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Program 3- and 5-axis CNC Lathes using MasterCAM or NX software.
- Lead and mentor a team of CNC programmers.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards in programming and production.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer with expertise in 3- and 5-axis programming.
- Familiarity with MasterCAM or NX software.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with other CNC programming software.
- Knowledge of machining processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
