Nexeo Staffing is seeking qualified CNC Lathe Operators to join their team in West Jordan, UT. The role involves operating and adjusting CNC lathe machines, ensuring precision in production processes, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machinery and be capable of interpreting blueprints and performing precise measurements.

  • Skillfully operate and adjust machine offsets as needed to ensure precision.
  • Interpret and comprehend blueprint designs accurately.
  • Efficiently set up machinery for production processes.
  • Perform precise measurements and verify all calculations prior to machinery setup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Proficiently read and record dimensions using Vernier Calipers, Outside Micrometers, Inside Micrometers, and other measuring tools.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
  • Input all relevant codes to specify the feed, speed, and cutting parameters for CNC lathe toolpaths.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to run machines with little supervision.
  • Previous experience operating and running a CNC lathe or similar machine, required.
  • Expected to be a self-starter, a good manager of time and work independently.
  • Must be able to understand basic concepts of machining and measuring.
  • Must have previous shop experience.
  • Must have previous experience reading blueprints and calculating dimensions.
