About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts to exact specifications. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts and ensure dimensional accuracy. Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with engineers and quality control personnel to resolve production issues. Document production data and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience operating CNC machinery.
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of measurement systems and geometric tolerancing.
  • Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
