About The Position

The CNC Lathe Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products that meet their specifications. Set up CNC Lathe machines to run production as needed Troubleshoot problems during CNC production to minimize non-conformances. When problems rise, notify the superior (Cell Lead) Use calipers, mics, indicators while performing setups to ensure machines and fixtures are set correctly Use basic math skills to determine and conduct tool offsets Read CMM reports generated from parts that were ran through production to ensure quality standards and specs are being met Dress and set tools for the CNC machines Operate multiple machines Perform Daily 5S (Cleaning) Conduct daily machine visual inspections and ensure coolant levels are adequate. Other duties as requested.

Requirements

Basic reading and math skills (minimum of 8th grade level)
GED or High School Diploma required
1 to 3 years in Manufacturing Experience
Manufacturing Quality
Controls and Instrumentation
Mechanical Inspection Tools
Decision Making
Problem Solving
Job Knowledge
understands copy exact requirements
experience with OSHA compliance
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.
