CNC Lathe Machinist
About The Position
TempToFT CNC Machinist 1st or 2nd Shift Seeking Experienced (3 Years or more required) CNC Machine Set-Up persons who will be responsible for efficiently completing MasterCam programming, setups and production on CNC 3 and 5 axis Mills and Lathes. Person will be responsible for maintaining part quality, setup and production run quantities Requirement and duties include: Must be motivated. 6 plus years’ experience minimum Operate and program Haas vertical milling machines and Lathes Operate, Program and Setup Haas UMC Series (Universal Machining Centers) Simultaneous 5-Axis Machines (true 5-axis cutting)Use and program Renishaw probe system on Haas milling machines. Proficient in MasterCAM X7 or higher (MasterCAM certificate a plus but not required) Proficient in Solidworks 2020 or higher. Work from prints, 3D CAD models, and setup sheets performing multiple operations to manufacture quality parts. Must be able to inspect finished parts to +/- .001 ensuring company quality standards are kept. Know how to use varies tools such as micrometers, calibers and edge finders. Must be able to troubleshoot and make manual adjustments to keep parts within specific tolerances Have great problem solving skills Must be able to maintain a clean workstation Must be able to perform more than one task in the shop. Must be self-sufficient Must be a TEAM player!
