This position is primarily responsible for operating the CNC cutting equipment including two fiber laser machines. Requirements

Familiarity with CNC cutting equipment operation.
Experience operating a 2D cutting laser.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools
Ability to communicate with shop team members.
Ability and commitment to follow all applicable safety requirements.
Must be able to lift 35 lb on a daily basis.
Must be able to spend 90% of the work day standing or walking.

Responsibilities

Operate de-coiling machine to blank out flat metal to length.
Load and unload laser table and material towers with overhead crane and vacuum lifter or forklift.
Program and operate 4000 Watt and 8000 Watt fiber lasers.
Sort cut pieces to feed downstream manufacturing processes.
Maintain clear access to designated areas or walkways.
Package finished parts for shipment.
Provide quality control to verify parts coming off laser.
