The CNC Integrex 5-Axis Lathe Operator is responsible for producing quality parts on various machines, including the Mazak Integrex. This role involves set-up, operation, and inspection of parts to ensure they conform to specifications while maintaining close tolerances and maximum efficiencies. The operator will study and interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, as well as the sequence of operations and setup requirements. The position requires measuring and marking dimensions on materials as a guide for machining, detecting equipment malfunctions, and making necessary adjustments to ensure quality production. The operator will also communicate with supervisors and other personnel to resolve machining or quality issues and is responsible for maintaining a clean work area and performing basic preventative maintenance functions. Adherence to company health, safety, and environmental rules is mandatory, and other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
