About The Position

The position involves setting up and operating CNC grinders, performing all basic grinding tasks within the shop while conforming to all specifications. A strong understanding of math and shop-related knowledge is essential for this role.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years CNC grinding experience and/or training
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts using decimals
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form

Responsibilities

• Set-up and run any parts on CNC ID cylindrical grinders
• Inspect 1st pc and own work to meet standards
• Operate precision gauging
• Follow safety standards and procedures
• Can operate with little or no supervision
• Follow proper work instructions
