The CNC/ASM Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and automated machining equipment to produce high-quality precision parts. This role involves performing a wide range of machining operations, conducting detailed quality inspections using standard and specialized measuring tools, and supporting trial runs and experimental parts in collaboration with engineering teams. The machinist ensures adherence to safety standards, maintains an organized work environment, troubleshoots equipment issues, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts in a high-quality manufacturing setting.
