About The Position

Are you the programmer who sees the whole process? Imagine walking up to a new part family. The print is dense with GD&T, the tolerances are tight, and production needs parts yesterday. You confirm IDs, scan the traveler for prior sign‑offs and counts, and verify your gages are in date. Only when everything checks out do you begin. Your mission: design fixturing, craft efficient toolpaths, and launch a stable program that supports flawless product flow. Your Mission Create, modify, and verify CNC programs for lathes and mills—end to end. Engineer and program workholding fixtures suitable for prototype through high‑volume builds. Minimize cycle time through smart programming, cutting tool selection, and fixturing optimization. Resolve machining‑related quality issues quickly and keep close‑tolerance components moving. Write and maintain clear process documentation for legacy and new products. Research, evaluate, and deploy new cutting tools, workholding, and programming tech. Ensure every new program aligns with department Standard Process Instructions and supports seamless facility flow. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements

Expert communication—clear, concise, and collaborative.
Mastery reading prints and applying GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
Strength in CAD/CAM: solid models, drawings, and production‑ready toolpaths.

AS in Manufacturing Technology preferred, or equivalent experience.
4+ years with CAD/CAM (Esprit/Mastercam and SolidWorks preferred).
8+ years working with CNC equipment in manufacturing; medical device background is a plus.
Experience with mechanical and CMM inspection methods.
Proficiency with MS Office and modern CAD/CAM platforms.
