We are seeking a motivated Preventative Maintenance Technician willing to learn. This role will provide exciting opportunities to work for a multidimensional company in a fast-paced, growing industry. Summary of Responsibility: Our Applications Engineers are bringing expertise in the newest technology in machines, cutting tools, and programming software. We need your validated experience to bring innovative ideas to our customers. Requirements

• Strong hands-on machining background with at least 3 years of experience with CNC machines
• Proven solid understanding of CAD/CAM software is vital
• Excellent customer service and effective interpersonal skills required
• Frequent travel throughout our regional territory

Nice To Haves

• Experience on Swiss and Okuma controls is a plus
• MasterCam, Esprit and Solidworks experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposals
• Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Programming and setting up CNC lathes, CNC vertical or horizontal mills, and Swiss style lathes
• Developing/ implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/ or multi-tasking machines
• Maintaining an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company
