We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled CNC Advanced Machinist to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be a vital member of our production team, you’ll be responsible for setting up and adjusting a variety of machines to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, technical certificate from a vocational school a plus
  • 3–5 years of experience in CNC machine setup (preferred) & manual machining
  • Understanding of machine changeovers and adjustments
  • Familiar with CNC programming & CAD/CAM software
  • Familiarity with coolant and cutting oils
  • Proficiency in technical drawings & executing based on the drawing
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows)
  • Experience with CNC machines; knowledge of Fanuc G & M codes is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, good teamwork & ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating lathes, cutters, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and CNC machines
  • Aligning and positioning tools, gears, cams, and templates to meet exact specifications
  • Performing test cycles to verify timing, clearance, and tolerances
  • Troubleshooting and resolving machine setup issues
  • Making program edits and adjustments directly on CNC machines
  • Reading blueprints and layouts to plan work sequences and tooling
  • Training and mentoring team members as needed
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives like kaizen and cycle time reduction.
