As part of Prolific Nursing and Concierge Services, you’ll have the opportunity to work flexible schedules, gain experience at a variety of skilled nursing facilities, and make a difference in the lives of those who need you most.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in the state of NC
- Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
- One year of CNA experience in the long term care setting mandatory
- Ability to assist residents with safe transfers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, compassionate, and professional.
- Willingness to work different assignments with no questions asked
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in resident conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and facility staff.
- Follow HIPAA, resident rights, and infection control protocols.
- Support mobility needs, including transferring and repositioning.
- Promptly respond to call lights and resident requests.
