The primary goal of the CNA is to provide patients with daily assistance, ensuring that they lead safe, comfortable, and well-managed lives in their own homes. Our ideal candidate will have experience in health care, a patient and understanding approach, and the ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the job. The daily duties and responsibilities of a CNA include: Helping patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Providing basic healthcare services including checking vital signs like temperature, pulse rate, and respiration rate per the patient's care plan Assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as preparing meals, doing laundry, and tidying up living areas Reminding clients to take medications as directed by the supervising healthcare professional Helping patients maintain their exercise and physical therapy routines Keeping records of patient's health condition and reporting any significant changes to the supervising nurse Assisting patients with mobility, helping them move around the house or outside Providing emotional support and companionship to patients, while also educating them about their health conditions Assisting patients in setting up transportation to doctor's appointments and running other essential errands if needed

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
Basic first aid and CPR certification
Physical ability and stamina to perform the role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, understanding, and empathy
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Clean Background check
Current TB Test

Nice To Haves

Experience in home health care is a plus
