Join us today and make a difference in the lives of others! Seeking a reliable part-time caregiver to provide in-home care for a couple in Gaithersburg. Schedule: Monday through Sunday from 9 AM–2 PM. Must have dementia care experience and be able to drive to appointments and errands.
Requirements
- Current CNA license
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test
- Must have dementia care experience
- be able to drive to appointments and errands
Responsibilities
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Engage the client in conversation and activities
