About The Position
Highland Palms is seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The CNA will provide high-quality, resident-centered care while supporting the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about caregiving and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends or holidays as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including lifting and assisting residents
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and document resident conditions, vital signs, and changes in behavior
- Provide emotional support and promote resident dignity and independence
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests
- Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks as assigned
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment
- Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team members
