About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients within healthcare and social assistance settings. Requirements

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a healthcare or long-term care facility.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Additional certifications related to patient care or specialized populations (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics).

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Support nursing staff by preparing patients for examinations and treatments.
  • Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and safe.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to report changes in patient condition.
  • Help with patient mobility including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation to prevent bedsores and promote circulation.
  • Follow infection control procedures and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
